We recently had an ice storm, just in time for the winter solstice even!
On the evening of the solstice, the kids opened a gift that I bought via Ouma and Oupa. Music fun!
Then we created light/darkness painted canvases -
A's. A castle with inner light and warmth; snow outside.
J draws lots of details, but he was inspired to paint abstractly -
K's. One tree, two seasons.
