A little over a week ago, I took my mom to Wine and Palette for her birthday. I wasn't sure how I'd like it, but it was actually great fun. I didn't follow the artists' instruction on the color scheme; instead, I made mine pink & two shades of green. :D
And, about three hours of painting later -

Today, we went for a family nature walk.
Sometimes the kids ran and then waited for us to catch up -
Sometimes they "walked" in very, very unusual, silly ways -
And, well, other times they paused to look at things in wonder. This pause was in honor of what we deemed The Armadillo Beetle -
