We also read the following picture books together: Mostly Monsterly by Tammi Sauer; How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World by Marjorie Priceman; When Rain Falls by Melissa Stewart; I'm Like You, You're Like Me by Cindy Gainer; Waiting Out the Storm by Joann Macken; The Magic Rabbit by Richard Watson; Sort It Out! by Barbara Mariconda.
Personally? My favorite was Mostly Monsterly and my least was I'm Like You. Yay monsters! Boo similarities! ... Just kidding. The monster book was about finding a sense of community while still holding onto the unique elements of You-ness. The other book had a good premise, but was written quite dully.
